Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Welcome to BETA-BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science. This page provides essential information for authors preparing and submitting manuscripts. Authors are encouraged to read these guidelines carefully before submission.

New Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are required to register as an Author before making a new submission. After logging in, authors may begin the submission process through the New Submission menu in their user dashboard.

During submission, authors must ensure that all metadata are entered correctly, including the manuscript title, full names of all authors, affiliations, email addresses, abstract, keywords, and references. Authors are also responsible for uploading all required files completely and accurately.

Each manuscript submitted to BETA-BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The manuscript for initial submission may be prepared in Microsoft Word or LaTeX, and authors are strongly encouraged to upload the review version in PDF format. If the manuscript is accepted, the final version should be prepared using the journal template.

Revised Manuscripts

Revised manuscripts must be submitted through the same online journal system so that they remain linked to the original submission record.

Authors must upload:

  • a detailed response letter addressing each reviewer comment point by point;
  • a revised manuscript showing the corrections made;
  • the editable source file of the revised manuscript, if requested by the editor.

To facilitate editorial assessment, authors are strongly advised to highlight or clearly mark all changes in the revised manuscript. Incomplete revisions may delay editorial decisions.

Example:

First Author: Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal Analysis, Writing – Original Draft.
Second Author: Software, Validation, Data Curation.
Third Author: Supervision, Writing – Review & Editing.
All authors read and approved the final manuscript.

English Editing

Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English. Authors may use either British English or American English, but the usage must be consistent throughout the manuscript.
