Article Processing Charges (APC)

APC Policy

BETA-BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science provides immediate open access to its content in order to support the global exchange of knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and computer science.

To maintain the quality and sustainability of journal publishing, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles. This fee is intended to support editorial management and publication services.

Publication Fee

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully passed the editorial and peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

There are no charges for manuscript submission, peer review, or access to published articles.

What the APC Covers

The publication fee is used to cover and support the costs of journal management and publication services, including but not limited to:

• editorial administration and manuscript handling;
• peer review management and communication;
• copyediting and layout preparation;
• plagiarism or similarity checking;
• article production and online publication;
• DOI registration;
• website and journal system maintenance;
• metadata preparation and indexing support.

Payment Procedure

The APC is payable only after the article has been accepted for publication. Detailed payment instructions will be provided by the editorial office through the official journal email or formal invoice/notification.

Authors are advised not to make any payment before receiving official confirmation from the editorial team.

Waiver and Discount Policy

In order to encourage wider international participation, BETA-BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science provides full APC waivers (free publication cost) for non-Indonesian authors.

Authors from outside Indonesia who demonstrate international collaboration involving co-authors from more than one country may be given higher priority for this APC waiver, as the journal seeks to promote global research collaboration and strengthen international academic networking.

For articles submitted by Indonesian authors who collaborate with non-Indonesian authors, the journal may provide a discount or reduction in publication fees.

The journal may also grant APC waivers or discounts to authors who have previously contributed to the development and strengthening of the journal through academic involvement, reviewer service, editorial support, or other meaningful contributions.

In addition, the Editors may, at their discretion, grant full or partial APC waivers to manuscripts that demonstrate strong novelty, high academic merit, and significant contribution to the advancement of mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related interdisciplinary fields.

Such consideration is provided as a form of appreciation for outstanding scholarly contribution and for authors who support the development of the journal.
